We really enjoy getting to know our couples ahead of time and getting involved in planning their receptions -- especially the music. 

Every aspect of a reception is important: the decorations, the refreshments, the pacing and sequence of events -- but the music, especially if there is dancing, is what marks the event as a memorable one. 

A wedding reception is pure celebration.  You, along with family and friends, are celebrating a new beginning.  Laughter, music and dancing leave a lasting impression.  You'll  remember that feeling of shared celebration long after you've forgotten the individual details of the day.  We'll help make it so.

We know dance music, and we know how to get them on the floor and keep them there.  Leave a lasting memory with your friends and family...throw them a great party on your wedding day.

Just tell us what you like.  You can keep it simple by telling us which artists and music genre's you like most and let us pick the best dance tunes, or you can be really detailed and pick specific songs that you'd like to hear.  You get to decide whether or not we'll take requests from the crowd, and we'll ask you in advance about specific songs that always get requested, but brides and grooms don't always like.  (Like the Chicken Dance: you either love it or you hate it.  There's no in-between!)

If you know exactly how you want the events to fall, great!  Give us an agenda and we'll keep you on track, from your entrance and introduction to your last dance and departure. 

If you don't even know where to begin, we're here to help.  We'll give you a sample agenda and help you customize it to fit your vision of a perfect reception.  There is no extra charge for this service...it's actually a fun part of the job. 

Where Do We Start?

After a short pre-planning meeting (by phone or face-to-face), we'll send you a reception planning guide.  The guide allows you to consider some of the important planning details that we'll cover together later, including information about you and your fiancé, your music preferences, guest information, order of events, logistical details, and equipment requirements.  Take time to work through it together and send it back.  We'll use your completed guide to start lining up the right equipment, music, and any other special requirements.  Two to four weeks before the ceremony, we'll talk at length and work out the small details.  In the meantime, feel free to call as often as you like...with ideas, changes, questions, or anything else that's on your mind.  We're committed to making your wedding day a special one.

One of the things that makes us different from most DJ companies is that we offer live demos.  Since we put on our own singles dances 2-4 times a month, you have the opportunity to see us in action, check out the quality of our equipment, and find out if we really know how to handle a crowd BEFORE you sign a contract.  Just ask for details when you call.

What about pricing?

We offer two ways to go.  Our PREMIER WEDDING PACKAGE, which offers a minimum of $1,300 worth of services for $995, or our BUILD YOUR OWN PACKAGE option, beginning at $340.

PREMIER WEDDING PACKAGE

Our Premier Package is designed for couples looking for the works.  It includes two disc jockeys - a senior DJ, elegantly dressed in a tuxedo or evening dress, and a professionally-dressed assistant to keep everything running smoothly and seamlessly.  The DJ will act as your master of ceremonies and keep you on track - no need to watch the clock or remember what's next.

 

ˇ         Our DJ booth will be elegant and low key, but our light show is spectacular.  We provide two sound systems -- one for the ceremony and one for the reception; four speakers for good sound distribution; two lapel mics for the ceremony (one for the officiant and one for the groom); and a wireless microphone for the toasts.

ˇ         We have an extensive music library, including hits from the 1940's through the current Top 40.  We'll customize a playlist to suite your style and to match the mood you have in mind for your reception.  We'll also bring music lists for your guests to make requests (if you like).

ˇ         We're available to play as many hours as you need -- no charge if you ask us to stay longer.  Early set-up is available for the ceremony if you need it -- no wait charge. 

ˇ         After it's all over, we'll leave you with an unedited videotape of your reception, including interviews with your guests, and a CD of your special songs. 

ˇ         Before the big day, our professional planner will work with you to set the order of events, identify special songs, and iron out all the other little details.  We'll give you a copy of the DJ's Timeline in advance so you know exactly what we're planning to do.
